Here are some French facts for you: Bastille Day, on the Fourteenth of July, is the French symbol of the end of the Monarchy and the beginning of the First Republic. The French refer to crabs or pubic lice as papillon-d'amour (butterflies of love). Pigalle is the red-light district of Paris. Many entertainment establishments in this area engage in aggressive marketing and charge well beyond the normal rate for drinks. There have been reports of threats of violence to coerce patrons into paying exorbitant beverage tabs. The trail should be stroller friendly and dolphin safe. Dogs are welcome. Remember that trail starts at Longs Drugs next to Nobb Hill in Capitola. There will likely be grub you've never tried before.
